About Company Sakura Ferroalloys Sdn Bhd
Sakura Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. (Sakura) (1036989-M) is a joint venture between Assmang Limited. Sumitomo Corporation and China Steel Corporation, for the development of a smelter facility in Samalaju Industrial Park. Sarawak, Malaysia.
Sakura is a Greenfields project, currently under construction, with commissioning expected to commence in October 2015, and aims to establish a facility to produce high-carbonferro-manganese (HcFeMn) and silica-manganese (SiMn) products. Alloy production is an energy intensive process. Sakura has been located in Sarawak due largely to the abundance of green hydro-electric power.
Sakura is constructing two 81MVA furnaces, including the raw material handling, storage, proportioning, feed systems, furnaces, gas cleaning, alloy casting, slag handling, product crushing, screening and stockpiling, and associated ancillaries and infrastructure.
Sakura is currently recruiting and we are looking for experienced individuals, preferably with smelting plant experience, for the following areas of disciplines:

Assistance Manager - Instrument Maintenance
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:
•Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a trade certificate (Instrumentation Technician) obtained from an accredited training facility
•Minimum 5 years Control & Instrumentation design, and commissioning experiences in mining industry
• Familiar with electrical, instrumentation, analyzers, switchgears, transformers. DCS / PLC system
•Additional maintenance supervision qualification and/or courses will be an advantage
•Project supervision experience will be advantageous

•Familiar with plant control system; RSLogix PLC programming language and Factory Talk SCADA package
•Worked with Rockwell network protocols including DeviceNei and Ethernet 1/P
•Be able to fault find instrument and LV MCC problems in the field
• Understand higher level MES systems and data management systems
• Ability to train personnel and transfer of skills

• High Voltage Chargeman Certification (HI) and register with SEB (Sarawak Energy Board). If this requirement is not met, the company would provide the training. The candidate will have to obtain the certification and registration within a set time frame
•Must be familiar with Electricity Supply Act 1990 [Act 447]. Electricity Regulations 1994, and Electrical Safety Guidelines stipulated by SEB (Sarawak Energy Board). If this requirement is not met, the company would provide the training
