HSE Manager
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Safety/Construction/Engineering or equivalent, 10 years experience.
Immediate Superior: GMP
Immediate Subordinates:
Safety Section Head, Safety Officer and Safety Supervisor
Diploma or Degree in Safety/Construction/Engineering or equivalent, 10 years experience.

General:
- Coordinates general safety work activities at Home Office and Site Office.
- Approves application for annual leave, outstation trip, claims etc. for subordinates at Home Office who are not involved in Project assignment.
- Evaluation of staff’s performance.
- Prepares report on job progress/status, manpower forecast/loading etc. for GM-P and keeps track of the status regularly with progress analysis and statement of action required if any.
Primary Responsibilities:
a) Establishes and maintains company’s health, safety and environment control programs.
b) Verifies the implementation and effectiveness of company’s health, safety and environment programs.
c) Identifies and provides solutions to health, safety and environment problems.
d) Establish the safety programmes for the project.
e) Ensure achievement of HSE KPI.
f) Organize safety committee, if necessary.
g) Provide HSE Training to the respective staff.
h) Maintain the safety statistic record for the company.
i) Periodical audit on safety compliance at all project site, prepare report and provide recommendation for improvement (if any).
j) Create safe working environment which is free from accidents and violations.
k) Provide proposal for suitable safety standard management system certification (if deem suitable by Company) such as OHSAS 18001 and act as a focal point towards achieving those certificate.
