Mechanical Supervisor

Provide maintenance follow up and repair for all mechanical (drilling) equipment in order to ensure the smoothness of drilling execution with optimal performances.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the similar position
• Excellent technical knowledge in drilling equipment & drilling process for onshore / offshore
• Comprehensive knowledge of safe working procedures in equipment handling
• Comprehensive knowledge of rig emergency signals and procedures

Objectives:
To observe and advise on all aspects of Occupational Health and Safety relating to office and field operations.
Brief Duties:
• Provides technical guidance, supervises, and coordinates the work of HSE Officers on the rigs to ensure compliance with government laws and regulations and company’s HSE Management System and Manual
• Ensures that all incidents and potential threats are reported and investigated thoroughly; also ensures appropriate case management of incidents
• Assesses HSE field activities
Requirements:
• Experience with minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas with minimum 2 years on drilling rig.
• Equivalent certification from international recognized safety bodies preferably NEBOSH, IGC
• Attended Safety& Health Officer course at DOSH approved training center or Registered with DOSH or
• Occupational Health, Safety knowledge and experience
• Good planning& organizing, communicative, high initiatives and problem solving skill.
• Willing to be posted in representative office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
