Medical Assistant (valid registration certificate with Board of Medical Assistant, Ministry of Health
Malaysia and in possession of annual practicing certificate).
Minimum 5 years post-certification work experience as a Medical Assistant.
Minimum 2 years offshore experience ( advantage )
Competence in managing medical emergencies.
The following competencies are of advantage:
Post-basic diploma in Accident and Emergency, Ministry of Health Malaysia.
A valid certificate on Advance Life (Cardiac or Trauma) Support.
Knowledge and experience in conducting Health Risk Assessment (HRA).
Chemical Health Risk Assessment knowledge (CHRA).
Competent Person for Noise Monitoring knowledge.
Basic Life Support Instructor or Instructor Trainer.
First Aid Instructor or Instructor Trainer.
Previous experience of working in an offshore location.
Completed Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Course.
Completed Health Risk Assessment (HRA) Awareness Course.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Basic presentation skills.
Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.

GMDSS
Medical
Medic Refresher Course
Hazard Analysis Central Control Point (HACCP) Training
Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO)
