Not only a position within Aker Solutions, but also a position on the exciting challenges the global oil and gas industry faces now and in the future The core of Aker Solutions’ Subsea division is located at Tranby Technology & Manufacturing Centre (TTMC) in Lier, where the Trees Group is a leading manufacturer of Subsea Trees and associated equipment for the global oil and gas industry with sites throughout the world. We engineer, develop, qualify, produce and deliver the next generation of subsea technology. We are currently expanding and we need new talents who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious plans within the subsea market. Responsibilities and tasks We are now looking for Project Engineers. As one of our Project Engineers you will be responsible for engineering tasks within an area such as definition of materials and BOM, contribution to MEL and MDL, assembly & test procedures, calculations and analysis, procurement. Responsibilities and tasks: • Have knowledge of the governing documents and regulations for company • Responsible for the technical execution of her/his professional area. This includes design, fabrication and testing • Responsible for compliance to regulations for health, environment and safety • Provide Lead Engineer with technical input relevant for procurement department • Have analytical skills in order to verify calculations and analysis • Be able to replace Lead Engineer in certain special situations • Participate in Design Reviews within his/her area Qualifications & personal attributes • 3 years experience, preferably from Subsea business area • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering • Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative • High level of independency • Good English knowledge We offer • Friendly colleagues in an industry with a bright future. • An environment where you are encouraged to develop your skills and share your knowledge with your colleagues. • Competitive benefits and strong focus on work-life balance.
