Description: 

The HSEQ Manager, reporting into the HSEQ Director – Europe, will be responsible for providing technical, management and supervisory support to the HSEQ function. They must also ensure that procedures and industry practices are implemented and followed throughout the company’s operations and activities. The HSEQ Manager is also required to assist in the management, development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s HSEQ Management System in compliance with AIMS and other corporate standards. 

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

•Build effective relationships with staff across all levels of the business

•Direct and supervise the HSEQ Advisors in ensuring effective HSEQ management of base facilities

•Perform, supervise and coach personnel in the compilation and application of Risk Assessments, Permit to Work requirements, LiveSafe Conversations/Tool Box Talks and ASCO LiveSafe Intervention system

•Present a positive image of the company through first class service delivery and customer engagement

•In partnership with the HSEQ department, ensure the continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance and compliance to all laws, regulations and industry standards/codes

The successful candidate should hold a recognised Health & Safety qualification and have experience in a customer-focused environment.
