Automotive company is looking for a MALAYSIAN Senior Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer who can ensure continuous improvement at Melexis’ suppliers in terms of quality and costs. Basic salary based on experience.
QUALIFICATION:
• Master degree in electronic engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Wafer fab and/or Assembly technology and subcontracting environment.
• Experience working in multinational and cross functional teams.
• Fluent in English.

RESPONSIBILITY:
• Identify suppliers’ improvement opportunities related to capabilities and performance while balancing quality, technical, supply chain (ie. business continuation) and financial aspects.
• Drive improvement programs resulting in increased effectiveness (no re-occurrence) and return on investment; by challenging and partnering up with suppliers.
• Contribute to excellent internal and external customer satisfaction by demonstrating effective supplier related process, pro-active behavior (ie. ownership and escalation management) and high transparency.
• Provide up-to-date transparency on supplier landscape and being able to provide business recommendations ensuring optimal fit, between (1) Melexis’ mid and long term needs and (2) supplier selection, in terms of technology portfolio, capabilities and performances.
• Manage global projects following Melexis’ corporate EPMO standards and procedures.
• Coach other team members related to technical and business competencies enhancement.

Thorough knowledge of process control techniques, yield and process improvement techniques. Thorough knowledge of management systems: knowledge of ISO9001, TS 16949, able to consult suppliers in the continuous improvement projects. Ability to work with multinational suppliers, customers and cross functional teams. Applied knowledge of auditing.
