JOB DESCRIPTION
• Must have experience in offshore pedestal cranes.
• Degree or minimum Certificate in Engineering (for MECHANICAL position) or Electrical/Instrument Engineering (for ELECTRICAL position) with eight (8) years field experience as a Crane Service Technician

• Shall have at least five (5) years experience in supervisory positions leading and managing field work in crane maintenance or crane repair and rebuild projects.
• Shall be able to comprehend requirements of :
-API RP 2D, 2C crane specification and operation requirements
-Crane manufacturers technical manuals
-Maintenance schedule and job cards
• Possess the required computer skills to complete spreadsheet and report / monitor work progress
• Be able to competently assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling, implementation and execution of planned activities
• Shall have competency in troubleshooting and maintenance of Crane Structures, Lifting Gear including Booms, Sheaves, Blocks, Pulleys, Wire Ropes, Winding Drums, Sale Load Indicator mechanical and hydraulic, Diesel Engine Power Units, Fuel Systems, Lighting Systems and other ancillary equipment. (For Mechanical position)
• E&I Technicians should ne able to carry out inspection and maintenance of electrical system, motors and electrical control systems of cranes.
• Should also be knowledgeable in trouble shooting SLI related issues, be able to rig up electrical panels etc. Candidates with wiremen certification or related qualifications will have an advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Self starter and motivated.
• Must be target driven, organized, adaptable and be willing to work extra hours, when needed.
