DESCRIPTION
Our esteemed client is a global leader in delivering products of outstanding quality and service. They construct and deliver high quality top-side modules, semi-submersibles and platforms for the marine, oil and gas industry. For one of their shipyards in Malaysia, they are seeking to fill in the role of Painting Inspector who is able to perform the following responsibilities:

Performs activities assigned in painting parts, equipment, buildings and other required shipyard related task
Assists in training of new workers in operation of painting equipment.
Inspects surface of area to be painted and can perform assignments, such as sandblasting, wire brushing, scraping, and painting.
Examines surfaces subsequent to painting to verify adherence to specified standards.
Performs other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS
Preferably with good track record in coating and painting
Fluent in English.
Degree or Diploma preferably in Engineering.
Have NACE 2 certification for at least two years
