Do you have good communication skills and an ability to grasp technology? Do you have an eye for detail and the ability to explain difficult concepts for readers who cannot afford to read twice? If your answer is yes to the above, then you have what it takes to be a good technical writer. We have vacancies for technical writers with the job requirements and responsibilities below. 

Requirements 

• Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Pure Science, or Applied Science 

• Computer literate – experience in desktop publishing software such as Adobe FrameMaker, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is an added advantage 

• Excellent command of the English language – proficiency in other languages is an added advantage 

Responsibilities

• Develop and support content for user manuals, online help, data sheets, brochures, teaching material, and e-learning packages. 

• Manage the localization, where appropriate, of the above content. 

• Proofread and ensure that format, grammar, and writing are consistent with our customers’ writing style guidelines. 

• Work closely with our customers to capture their expectations. 

• Ensure that technical documentation deliverables meet their quality and timeline 

requirements.
