MSTS Asia Sdn Bhd is a joint venture company with the Denmark based Falck A/S Group, a multinational company specialising in healthcare, emergency, assistance and safety training. As a member of Falck Safety Services (a division of Falck A/S), the largest provider of safety and emergency response training to the offshore, oil & gas, maritime industries world-wide, MSTS is servicing a wide spectrum of clientele ranging from local to multi national companies. As a multinational company providing safety training and consultancy services to oil & gas, marine, industrial and public sectors, MSTS is now operating five training centres located at Johor and Miri in Malaysia and in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. We are currently looking for well quality and dynamic individual to be part of our team. Ambitious and talented candidates are invited to join us for the position of:-

STCWTRAINER (Location: Miri)

Job responsibilities:

• Direct teaching on STCW/Marine courses including courses conducted onsite.
• Deliver, assess and evaluate training programs as per weekly schedule.
• Design, develop and maintain STCW course master files and handouts.
• Maintain quality of training programs and accreditation.
• Share knowledge that further enhances the ability of fellow employees.
• Helpful and cooperative towards participants and visitors at all times.
• Compliance of all necessary records in accordance with the preventive maintenance.
• Handle all other duties related to training activities.

Job requirements:
• Possess a Diploma or Degree in any field with minimum 5 years relevant experience in his/her field of discipline.
• Possess Certificate of competency (COC) is mandatory.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint).
• Being in possession of a D32 certificate or equivalent is an advantage.
• Being in possession of a valid First Aid certificates an advantage.
• Being in possession of an instructional techniques qualifications an advantage.
