DESCRIPTION
Our client, EPCM, for Refinery and GTL projects in Malaysia, is seeking to fill the HSE Managerial ole. The successful Corporate HSE Manager would have the following responsibilities:

Responsible for all HS&E matters with regulators, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
Provide senior professional advice and consultancy in HS&E managementIdentify and communicate applicable HS&E legislative and corporate requirements

Develop policies and strategies for continuous improvement and development of the HS&E culture, encouraging, motivating and recognising good behaviour at all levels<

Establish, maintain and lead all significant accident and incident investigations, record systems, reports and accident trend analysis

Co-ordinate HS&E management systems and processes such as risk management, contractor management, environmental monitoring, reporting, emergency response etc across the entire site
Train employees and contractors on HS&E processes, systems and procedures

REQUIREMENTS
Min. Degree in any engineering or scientific discipline or HS&E level of equivalent

At least 10 years experience in providing advice and risk based solutions in a chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical industry, of which 5 years is in management level

Working experience in ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18001 management systems and process safety management

Experience in installation, start up and commissioning is a distinct advantage

Ability to influence and facilitate ownership and commitment of HS&E activities by management
