My client is on the lookout for a Contracts Analyst. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities
* Reviews, negotiates and drafts contracts with customers for the provision of products and services.
* Drafts and communicates exceptions to tender documents under the supervision of the contracts manager.
* Monitors purchase orders to ensure compliance with all policies and highlights and reports any deviations from the customer contracts risk standard.
* Administers contracts and ensures compliance with administrative procedures.
* Promotes compliance with the market tender procedures.
* Ensures compliance with company policies, standards, procedures, and contractual obligations.
* Ensures the database is properly updated as contract changes and events occur.
* Identifies and proposes improvements to existing contracting procedures.
* Assists the contracts and marketing manager as required.
* Generates customer relationship management (CRM) and other reports to properly monitor active and expiring contracts.
* Responsible for the maintenance of contracts and tenders files.
* Collaborates with the legal department to ensure contractual risks are clearly identified and properly addressed in contractual provisions.
* Supports the supply chain team in the drafting and development of the wellsite sub-contracts under the supervision of the contracts manager.
* Assists and supports the contract manager and actively participates in all aspects of post award contract management.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in law, finance, contracts management, engineering, business administration, or equivalent discipline.
* Paralegal training or certification, as appropriate.
* Minimum three years' work experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least one year of experience in contracts, marketing or legal departments and law firm capacity.
