ELECTRICAL DRAFTSMAN

We have an opening for ELECTRICAL DRAFTSMAN position for Oil and Gas project in Malaysia.

THE CLIENT:
Is the world's leading designer and builder of jackup rigs, having delivered the most number of new build units in the last decade. 

It designs, builds, upgrades and repairs the complete range of mobile offshore drilling units, semisubmersible floating production units, and other specialized units such as tension leg platforms, semisubmersible drilling tenders and accommodation units. Has a sterling track record for deepwater upgrades, life extension works and major conversions of semisubmersible and jackup rigs. A global leader in the offshore and marine industry with a network of 20 yards worldwide.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform drafting, design work and calculations
- Prepare work schedules and monitor work progress
- Ensure compliance of drawings with regulatory specifications

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Nitec or Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or drafting)
- Minimum 2 years of engineering design experience, preferably in marine, offshore or oil/gas industries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Naval Architecture and Structural programs
- Resourceful, able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadline
