Hands on Turbine Mechanical Maintenance skills of Coal based thermal power stations (knowledge of Turbine constructional details, Welding & Inspection, Heaters (HP/LP/Deaerator), Boiler Feed Pump, CW Pump, CEP, various valves. Must have knowledge about quality check sheet/protocols of Turbine proper )
Knowledge of Statutory requirements
Handling of contractors/business partners i.e. contract management skills
Must have implemented industry standard safety, environment & waste management measures
Exposure to business excellence models like 5S/TPM/TQM/Six Sigma and implementation of Management system like ISO/OHSAS
Inventory management
Maintenance planning and usage of ERP packages like SAP will be an added advantage.
KRAs
Prepare maintenance plan of Turbine area to ensure 100% availability
Prepare budgetary provision and see it is approved.
Set KRAs for the team aligned with maintenance plan.
Bench marking and plans to achieve the same to make the plant as role model
Adherence to time schedule and implementation in all activities
Prepare proactive maintenance plan and ensure optimum availability of equipment
Minimize technical dependency from external agencies like technology suppliers/develop internal manpower
Conducting HAZOP study and implementing systems accordingly
Productivity improvement and innovation.
